Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary Works as an extended team member with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Design Assurance, Regulatory, and R&D to develop medical devices. Works with Design, Product, and Process Development Engineering to develop products that meet market and regulatory requirements.
Principal Responsibilities Applies engineering and scientific principles while generating product designs/concepts. Plans and executes assigned actions to meet overall project deadlines. Completes protocols and reports and transfer qualified new products/processes to Operations. Clearly presents ideas and facts both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Builds partnerships and collaborates with others to meet shared objectives. Works effectively in a diverse group, respecting different ideas, perspectives and values. Education / Experience Requirements BA/BS in Engineering or physical sciences required, or equivalent applicable experience. No previous experience required. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements Possesses a working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements. Understands basic anatomy of human circulatory systems.
