Dog Trainer Apprentice And Kennel Technician

Jamieson Creek Kennel in Clovis, NM is looking for one dog trainer apprentice and kennel technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a strong desire to work with animals, is punctual, and reliable. **This position is for a Kennel Technician with the potential to become a Dog Training Apprentice** This position requires vary hours that include both morning and evening shifts. The chosen candidate will first gain experience working/handling dogs as a Kennel Technician. Once they have demonstrated adequate handling skills, they will then begin their shadowing as a Dog Trainer Apprentice. While the Kennel Technician position is a paid position, the apprentice training is not . The qualified candidate will also be required to sign a commitment contract. This is a part-time position to start but will lead to a full time Dog Trainer position upon successful training.
