Distribution Manager

Full job description Responsibilities: Manages warehouse staff including hiring, training, administer appropriate professional development and performance evaluations coaches warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of products Consistently meet daily customer fulfillment objectives in a high mix/high volume setting Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution efficiency and reduce costs Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate recordkeeping Collaborate with vendors and logistics providers to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment Performs other duties as assigned General Information: Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-8:00am and work an 8 hours but must be flexible with OT when needed

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent along with Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations Management Minimum of 5 to 7 years distribution center management Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Recent ERP and SAP experience is a must Strong computer skills, including Excel Previous union experience is a plus
