Education and experience are also considered when extending offers.Monday - Friday: Approx. 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - No Nights or Weekends required!Full Time Position Benefits also include:Medical - 100% of employee premiums paid by employer. Family coverage is also available.Dental, Vision, & Disability Insurance9 Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffTuition Reimbursement & Student Loan Assistance (we pay $500 towards your student loans every 6 months!)Retirement Savings BonusEmployer Contribution to a Dependent Care FSAOpportunities for AdvancementResponsibilities of the DSP:Provide supervision to clients in recreational activities, meal times and other various activities in a day program setting and out in the community.Provide quality assistance with all personal cares..Provide and assist clients with medication.Provide and assist with hooking up wheelchairs and using lift vehicles.Community Integration/engagement: staff are responsible for the interaction of the work team with the work community and population at large.The use of behavior modification principles: Assist in interaction through positive reinforcement, positive programming, engagement and the use of alternative communication strategies.Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.Attend all required and requested staff meetings and training.Assist in the transportation of client using OS vehicles and follow agency Transportation policies.
