Position Details: Reporting to the Digital Marketing Strategist, you will support the Marketing area for our Global Export team to meet promotional goals and performance targets. This individual will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to build, test, execute email segmentation, reporting, and set up promotions in operating systems. In addition will act as the test leader for all new marketing projects. This includes ownership of the development, setup, maintenance, and review of recurring and triggered email communications using up-to-date best practices.
You Will: Prepare email marketing calendar, identifying segments for each email, promotions, recommended merchandise themes and landing pages. Incorporate promotions and themes from concurrent catalogs and website creative and offers. Set up promotional banners in A/B testing tools. Use third partner software to test and optimize email subject lines Monitor email in box placement. Preview email campaign to internal group with necessary information about the campaign. Add campaign to marketing email approval database to ensure customer service tests are executed on time. Set-up email campaigns in ESP ensuring all the links and promotion codes are working correctly. Performs spam analysis for every email campaign and work with the team for changes required. Test each email deployed, including all creative, images and links. Report on email response, test performance; communicates results to the marketing team. Maintain all email reporting including marketing and triggers. Maintain email processing schedule for all campaigns and performance year over year. Assist in the creative development process providing design, copywriting, and theme ideas. Perform testing for all trigger emails and modifies html for any triggers if needed in content management system. Add product recommendation in trigger emails, as needed and performs all the testing to make sure emails render correctly and recommendation makes sense. Manage the internal operating system (CWD/RDC) to setup all the ecommerce efforts and promotions and cross team members. Recommend tests and strategies to improve the business that align with company targets and goals. Create documentation for schedules, processes, reports and other areas of responsibility, to simplify coverage and training support. Perform testing on new web development. You Have: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Statistics, or related discipline desired or equivalent experience. 3+ years' experience in a similar setting, direct marketing industry, email industry experience preferred, catalog industry experience preferred. Experience creating and deploying emails for web campaigns. Email content design creation including design and intermittent coding (ex: using Pardot w/ salesforce). Intermittent Omni channel / marketing campaign analysis (paid search, email, social), fluency using google ad words. Strong computer skills including word processing, Excel formulas and pivot tables, database programs, basic knowledge of HTML coding and report writing. Proficient in SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics. Analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to all levels and to translate results into future actions to improve the business. Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaking and writing highly preferred. Ideally based in Chicago. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse audience. Strong interpersonal skills.
