What You'll Do in This Position
The SDx Team is looking for a Team Lead who will support administration, development, testing, and implementation of SDx configurations for Savannah River Site facilities and projects. This includes working individually, on teams and leading teams to develop software solutions for site operational facilities. Key tasks include maintenance of system information and access permissions as well as implementation and development of new forms, electronic workflows, and validation processes. The types of work/skills needed may include: Develop, test, and implement SDx configuration and customizations Migration from SPF to the HxGN SDx platform Experience with other Intergraph/Hexagon tools and products that interface with SDx such as Smart Instrumentation, Smart 3D, Smart Construction, etc. Software development experience in Visual Studio, .NET, C#, Java and web application frameworks Lead a team or professionals that will manage, administer, and control the Hexagon SDx Software and associated hardware Serve as the Scrum Master and lead the Agile Software Development process for the SDx Development Team Serve as the Team Lead for the SDx Development Team. Develop conventional solutions to technical task objectives within various SRNS facility engineering organizations. Learn SRNS and specific Department/Facility systems and requirements for accomplishing tasks. Provide leadership in determining solutions to complex problems, prepare schedules, budgets and personnel requirements for solving technical tasks, communicate results either verbally or in writing. Provide mentoring and/or guidance to less senior professionals. Define scope of technical programs and develop effective and efficient solutions to challenges which involve unique or controversial problems. Routinely use SRNS systems and meet all SRNS requirements with little supervisory guidance. Assist in teaching newer professionals and guiding their efforts.
Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
