Job Summary:
The Design Intern will support the design department in managing and coordinating various design-related activities throughout the built-to-rent construction process. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in the coordination of design projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to develop and refine design concepts.
• Coordinate and communicate design changes, updates, and modifications to relevant stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate design drawings, specifications, and other project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Track and maintain project-related documentation, including design files, permits, and approvals.
• Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of design materials and products.
• Assist in preparing and presenting design-related materials for internal and external meetings.
• Provide administrative support to the design department, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing design-related correspondence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows.
