The Pictsweet Company is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for the Corporate Office in Bells, TN. The Manager, Human Resources is a vital member of the Corporate HR team and provides insight and leadership in talent acquisition, engagement and retention. Major areas of responsibility include recruiting, on-boarding, employee relations, organizational development and community relations. This position will also participate in corporate-wide initiatives and projects with other HR professionals. The role is responsible for implementing and managing human resources policies and programs to achieve stated company objectives. Finally, the position will serve as a consultant and coach to managers and supervisors regarding HR issues.
Manage talent acquisition for exempt and non-exempt staff to include recruiting, applicant tracking, compensation analysis and onboarding. Provide thorough orientation for new associates in the Corporate Office. Coordinate administrative tasks including but not limited to developing & maintaining job descriptions, coordinating all leaves of absence requests, coordinating drug & background screening processes, conducting exit interviews, maintaining employment data and reports and assist with disciplinary warnings. Administer established HR policies, procedures, handbooks and initiatives. Provide input, recommendations and feedback for the development of new approaches, policies, and procedures. Assist in developing standard HR processes for continuous improvement. Administer activities in accordance with current practice. Coordinate Pictsweet's presence at and attend college career fairs. Work alongside Corporate Recruiter in building and developing the Pictsweet employment brand among college students, professors and administrators. Become a subject matter expert with our applicant tracking and HRIS and develop/produce analytics for corporate leadership Collaborate with Community Development Manager to develop strong relationships with Crockett County schools, area TCATs, colleges & universities. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field of study. MBA or MS in HR or related field a plus. 5-7 Years of experience in the Human Resources field. Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Ability to build constructive and effective relationships across the organization. Shows consistency between words and actions and holds others accountable for doing so. Demonstrates influence by asserting his/her ideas and opinions. Ability to create clear and concise presentations to support ideas and address issues. Clearly describes the implications of data or ideas when presenting.
