Content Marketing Intern

Does storytelling and introducing strategic creativity fulfill you? ARAG is hiring a part-time content marketing intern for the fall semester! Your words will help increase awareness, engagement, purchase and retention of ARAG products across social media, creative content, press materials and more.
Assists with the written development of content for use in social media, web, email, and print campaigns in line with ARAG brand and style guidelines. Supports social media content creation and management. Reviews content to ensure it consistently and accurately portrays the ARAG brand and follows style guidelines, revising and editing as necessary. Simplifies complex topics and makes information accessible and digestible to diverse audiences. Serves as positive role model by representing ARAG at its Best. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge Journalistic and storytelling skills with an ability to craft compelling digital narratives. Proficiency in digital writing, especially the ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy for digital platforms. Knowledge of AP Style is required. Knowledge of social media platforms and implementation required. Experience with Sprout Social or social media management software a plus. Skills Strong computer and technical skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as a basic understanding of new technology, work tools and media forms. Strong aptitude to learn. Demonstrated initiative and "can do" attitude. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work effectively and comfortably in team setting. Education Candidates must be in the process of obtaining a four-year college degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or communications from an accredited college or university. Experience Previous internship or significant course experience preferred. Certifications, Licenses, Associations, etc. None required.
