Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee all compliance functions within our wealth and trust division, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of our firm.
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, with a focus on fiduciary and investment risk management.
* Provide expert guidance and training to staff on compliance matters, including regulatory updates and best practices.
* Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Qualifications Of Compliance Manager:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management within the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth and trust management.
* Certified Fiduciary & Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) designation.
* Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification.
* Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation preferred.
* Thorough understanding of relevant regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and state securities laws.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Proven track record of implementing effective compliance programs and initiatives.
