Your Role: This position is responsible for performing tasks that ensure Straumann complies with the United States and Canadian regulations for the handling and management of complaints and adverse event reporting.  Responsibilities include documenting, processing, and closing customer complaints.  This position is also responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships while maintaining compliance with company policies. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Document complaints in the complaint handling systemCommunicate with clinicians, office staff, and Straumann Headquarters as needed to obtain additional information to process complaintsProcess incoming complaint product shipments (i.e., open and process mail) with possible exposure to bloodborne pathogensReview complaints to determine whether regulatory authority reporting or assessment by Product Safety Officer is warrantedShipping of complaints to the Designated Complaint Handling Unit (DCHU)Closeout complaints in a timely mannerMaintain excellent working knowledge of company's productsWrite letters to clinicians or regulatory authorities concerning complaint processingResolve customer complaints following company complaint policies and proceduresReview complaint analysis reports and make decisions regarding the closing of complaintsAddress customer concerns via the Regulatory telephone queue and department email inboxOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 1+ years prior dental and/or regulatory affairs experience Preferred Qualifications: Complaint handling experience College degree or equivalentExperience working in a regulated medical product industryExcellent computer skills, e.g. in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordExcellent organizational skillsAbility to thrive in high paced, time-sensitive, team environmentA strong record of reliability is essentialAbility to multi-task effectivelyThe individual should be a team player with excellent written and oral communications skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
