Are you looking to join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time?    Novant Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join an established, growing multi-site practice comprised of 44 physicians and 11 APPs in Wilmington, NC to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. This position will float to multiple local offices in the area. We are looking for a patient-focused, compassionate, caring, and honest provider who enjoys a care team approach, educating patients and is committed to the health and wellness of not only our patients but the communities from which they come. This is an office-based position. No call required. Being a Southern coastal town, Wilmington offers a variety of activities: historic downtown, Thalian Hall performing arts center, beaches and water activities, fishing, nightlife, golf, tennis, and great restaurants. Our community offers many family-oriented events, festivals, and activities. Additionally, area schools are identified as some of the top in the state while the local university UNC Wilmington "UNC by the Sea" provides further educational opportunities.

Experience: One to three years of experience working in an office setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or  registry with state nursing board , BLS,  DEA registry required.  
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and depart-specific skills validation and competency testing; Thorough knowledge of diagnosis, and pharmacology; Thorough skill in physical assessment and management of chronic illness; Communication skills, both verbal and written; general computer knowledge is preferred; ability to work independently, yet in collaboration when necessary. Ability to  use problem-solving, decision making, creative and communication skills.
