Responsibilities
• Project estimating, detailed takeoffs, and vendor buyouts• Communicating with Sales Manager, Sales Team, Project Managers, and Superintendents• Answering inquiries, responding to special requests, and communicating order changes• Responding to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes, and closing orders• Submittal preparation• Vendor negotiation and buyout• Follow-up on open proposals and orders• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written• Ability to maintain tight project bidding deadlines• Must be detail-oriented• Able to work within deadlines and without direct supervision• Self-motivated and enthusiastic• Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office programs• Some experience with CAD is desired• Mechanical Engineering Degree, or enrollment in such a program, is strongly preferred
