Alcohol and Drug Freedom Center of Knox County is seeking a Clinical Director to join our team. This management-level position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of behavioral health services and ensuring the highest standard of care for clients. The Clinical Director will be responsible for managing and leading a multi-disciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, developing treatment programs, implementing policies, and collaborating with other members of the management team to improve clinical outcomes and organizational effectiveness. The Clinical Director is responsible for working with the Executive Director and QI Director to ensure all funding sources, accreditation, county, state, and federal regulations and guidelines are followed. In addition, this role is responsible for working with the QI department to implement, track, and monitor clinical measures and outcomes. The Clinical Director is also responsible for:
Proposing objectives, staffing patterns, and budgets for the integrated dual disorder program. Engaging collaboratively with other area service providers to ensure supportive referral, transfer, and client acceptance processes. Recommending a system of clinical programming that adheres to evidence-based best practices and is person- and family-centered. Overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on program requirements and outcomes for grants and other funding sources. Participating in local, state, and national networks and advocacy groups to support and advocate for the mission of the organization and implementation of the new service delivery models. To meet the qualifications for this position, you must have at least a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other closely related human service field. Independent licensure in social work, psychology, counseling, or other closely related human service field. Must demonstrate extensive experience in the treatment and integrated care of individuals who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Prior supervisory experience is required.
Must demonstrate a current knowledge of counseling and research findings and literature pertaining to co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, ability to effectively supervise and manage several professional staff members, ability to work independently, and possess and demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of state and national certification, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
