The Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion Across Minnesota (C2DREAM) is seeking to hire a program associate to provide administrative support to the Administrative Core (AD). A successful candidate is highly motivated but also demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, has outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across multiple institutions.
This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring 1-2 in-office days per week. Currently, Tuesdays are designated as our in-office day. The program associate will report directly to the C2DREAM Center Administrator. We strongly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC candidates, to apply for this position.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: C2DREAM Administrative Core Program Associate (70%): Support the administrative activities of the research grant administrative core, ensuring efficient and effective operation, including contributing to the essential day-to-day operations and administration of the center. Manage email correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. Schedule and organize meetings, including coordinating availability, sending out invitations, and arranging necessary logistics, e.g., the Executive, Steering, and Internal Advisory committees, MPI meetings, etc. Assist in the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures related to the grant. Assist with the management of documentation and records related to grant activities, including budgets, progress reports, and on/offboarding documents. Aid in the preparation of grant proposals, progress reports, and other required submissions. Provide logistical support for meetings, conferences, and other events related to the grant project. Purchase supplies and prepare financial documents for processing. Support the Communications Coordinator in executing communication tasks. Offer administrative support for cores and projects, as needed. Provide logistical support for meetings, conferences, and other events related to the grant project. Prepare literature reviews, maintain citation managers, and assist with manuscript submissions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the research grant administrative core. C2DREAM Data Hub Coordinator (30%):
The goal of the C2DREAM Data Monitoring and Coordination Hub (Data Hub) is to standardize the measurement of structural and interpersonal experiences of racism, social determinants of health, behavior change, and social-cognitive predictors across C2DREAM studies. Collaborating with the NIMHD Data Coordinating Center, the Data Hub will develop, refine, and oversee the implementation of common data elements, including innovative measures of racism and tools from the PhenX Toolkit. This position will work closely with the Data Hub lead.
Providing coordination for the Data Hub with guidance from C2DREAM leadership, including meeting coordination, scheduling, managing communications, checking email, and developing operational processes. Leading monthly Data Hub meetings. Assisting analysts in developing and maintaining tracking processes, collecting data from projects and pilot awardees, and managing the Box account. Managing reporting tasks, including MPI updates and yearly RPPR summaries. Organizing data for C2DREAM research projects and ID Core Pilot Awardees, ensuring timely uploads and communication Fostering effective communication and collaboration between Data Hub stakeholders, including leads, REDCap Manager, analysts, and the national Research Coordinating Center. Salary Range: $21.84hr to $32.77hr; actual starting salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. All required qualifications must be documented on application materials Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and four years of related office experience. Training/education may be substituted from some of the years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Multilingualism is highly encouraged. Previous exposure to research grants is beneficial. Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
