Cad Senior Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves executing complex tasks related to designing mechanical hardware for industrial robot automation projects. The ideal candidate will guide projects from conceptualization to machine development within specified schedules and cost parameters, playing a pivotal role in organizing intricate activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects.
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- Conceptualize and design complex automation machinery, robotic cells, and material handling systems.
- Create 3D part/assembly models and detailed drawings for manufacturing using Solidworks, adhering to design best practices.
- Manage the scope of work for mechanical design on customized projects, including planning, supervising project work, and verifying designs to ensure effective performance.
- Support fabrication, testing, and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
- Provide guidance and direction in technical risk evaluation, functional composition, and interface management as part of the design team.
- Offer technical expertise in automation and equipment engineering practices.
- Ensure commitments on projects are met, including cost, schedule, function, performance, serviceability, and appearance.
- Deliver complete and accurate designs within the allocated time.
- Mentor team members.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations.
- Adhere to all safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
