Position Description Advertised Job Summary Budget Office Fiscal Analyst - Temporary University of South Carolina Upstate TMP00784PO24 Spartanburg, SC Under administrative direction, performs financial transactions, including the posting of accounts payable invoices from vendors, processing of purchase requisitions, cash receipts, expense reimbursement and other documents to PeopleSoft (PS). Assist with administrative and basic accounting tasks. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Supports the Upstate Athletics Division, Chancellor's Office and Marketing Divisions in the processing of Accounts Payable Vouchers through processing invoices for payment via payment request system in PeopleSoft. Ensure invoices are charged to the correct departments and accounts. Submits Travel and Non-Travel reimbursements and paperwork into PeopleSoft, reconciling cash advances, and processing cash deposits. Processing of Team Travel cards and the New Staff Travel Cards by collecting and verifying travel card receipts, processing receipts for payments monthly in the PS system. Other duties as assigned that includes assisting in data entry and account analysis for month end and annual reports. Assisting with the processing of journal entries, journal vouchers, payroll retro entries, the filing of accounting records and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in accounting or related field or 2 years related experience. A successful background check is required.
