ATLASSIAN JIRA ADMINISTRATOR I Based onsite at Rocket Lab's Headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Atlassian Jira Administrator I is responsible for supporting Jira and Confluence, issue tracking and collaboration software applications.
This role will initially focus on providing Level I and Level II support to end users and then expand into more technical and mission-critical work. While some Jira experience is a pre-requisite, ideal candidates will bring the right mix of business acumen, technical knowledge, and customer service needed to support our growing organization.
You will support the Sr Atlassian Jira Administrator within the Enterprise Information Systems team.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Design and implement custom workflows, fields, and automation to optimize processes and support business needsCoordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement new features or improvements in JiraProvide front-line support for Jira and Confluence for end users across the globeCreate and maintain system documentation and training materialsYOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 1 years' experience in Jira administration, in either Cloud or Data Center environments.Proven understanding of ITSM conceptsTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Familiarity with REST APIs, Linux server administration, or Groovy scriptingAtlassian certificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.   Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.  Must be physically able to commute to buildings Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Base salary is only one part of Rocket Lab's compensation package for this role. You may be eligible for company stock, stock options, or cash incentives, and can purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab's Employee Stock Purchase Program. Base Pay Range (CA Only)
$29—$38 USD
