Description: The client is a legacy full-service Architecture and Interior Design Firm specializing in the Education, Commercial and Native-American market sectors. They are a team of 70+ professionals focused on design and working together. The culture is positive, productive, and rewarding. Our three well-respected partners have a combined experience of over 90 years, and we recently celebrated 60 years in business. The client is looking forward to the addition of our next unique and talented team member. Specifically, we are seeking a dynamic, creative, self-motivated and collaborative K-12 Project Director/Lead Architect help lead our team in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Responsibilities : This position is responsible for oversight of all elements of the design and construction processes, from site preparation to building completion. Includes development, organization, and review of building plans, preparation of bid documents, permit documents, and construction contract documents for general contractors, and all aspects of construction administration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:- 6-10 years of recent experience in a similar role in an architectural firm.- BA/BS in Architecture or equivalent- Preferably a registered architect and eligible to be an AZ Registered architect- Experience with K-12 education projects required. Additional experience with Multi-family and/or Native American projects is a plus.- Aptitude in Revit ( BIM ), Bluebeam, ACC and/ or other drafting and rendering tools. Certification in Revit is preferred. Please note: A proficiency test will be administered prior to a job offer.- Preferred aptitude in BSD SpecLink and CostLink, InDesign, SketchUp.- Demonstrated history of managing teams and multiple projects, clients, employees, consultants, and contractors simultaneously with strong organizational, time management and communications skills.- Confident and professional communication and presentation skills and the ability to professionally represent the firm to clients, contractors, and engineers.- Must work well in a team-based environment, leadership with vision- Solid understanding of industry standards, code requirements, construction methods, and technical systems.- Strong creative design and drawing skills with the ability to present concepts and ideas.- 401(K) matching- Competitive PTO - Life & Disability Insurance- 4.5 day work week- Performance bonuses Experience Level:
