Seeking an ACT Counselor to join our interdisciplinary ACT clinical teamWorking with individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness or General Mental Health diagnosisServe as a substance abuse expert under Court Ordered Treatment

Responsibilities
• Develop program activities for co-occurring disorders services• Conduct individual sessions and group treatment services• Assess member needs and participate in the development of service plans• Act as a member advocate and liaise with families and community agencies• Provide education and consultation on substance use issues• Provide crisis intervention services and weekend/holiday coverage• Recruit new clients who could benefit from ACT services• Assess client need for ACT services and transition clients to less intensive services as appropriate• Facilitate substance use treatment and provide therapeutic counseling services• Participate in the service plan development process
Requirements
• MA in Behavioral health or related field• 1 year experience in behavioral health• Meet the requirements of a Behavioral Health Professional in the State of Arizona• Strong understanding of substance use, addiction, and recovery clinical skills• Good communication and interpersonal skills• Valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card• Valid Arizona driver's license and minimum 4 years driving experience• Ability to pass a TB test• Physical ability to perform essential job functions
