As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role is crucial in maintaining strong relationships with their vendors and ensuring the smooth operation of their financial activities. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities: Accurately review, verify and process invoices for goods and services received, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH and wire transfers, while ensuring proper documentation and authorization Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing any inquiries or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including vendor statements and related general ledger accounts, to ensure accuracy and completeness Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and proper documentation Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support overall financial operations and objectives Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements: 2+ years of accounts payable focused role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP or similar ERP systems) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
