Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist at File Construction, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for managing both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, utilizing various payment methods.
- Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely collections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
