Responsibilities
• Responsible for plant AP functions, reporting, and received not invoiced balances• Weekly plant billing and workpapers• Daily production reconciliations and reporting• Responsible for weekly packaging reports• Assists in overseeing daily operations of Accounting Department• Coordinates and completes annual audits• Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles• Improves systems and procedures and initiates corrective actions when needed• Monitors and analyzes accounting data and produces financial reports or statements• Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close• Provides training to new and existing staff• May assume other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field required• Proven working experience in accounting or finance field. 2-3 years of AP experience is preferred• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and database management• Proven ability to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data• Ability to speak, read, and write English• Good verbal and written communication skills• Excellent math skills• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
