Visitor Information Specialist

The City of Seaside is accepting applications for a part-time position that helps cover staffing shortages at the Seaside Visitors Bureau. If you would like to share your enthusiasm and diverse knowledge about the Seaside area with visitors from around the region and world, this job may be for you. Must be customer-service oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to handle a rapidly changing environment. In-depth knowledge of Seaside and Oregon's North Coast is a must. An administrative background, strong computer skills, working knowledge of social media in a workplace setting, and the ability to adjust quickly to visitor demands are also ideal for the position. The work schedule requires Friday/Saturday/Sunday and some holiday hours. No phone calls, please. The application deadline is Sunday, May 19, at 11:59 p.m.
