Responsibilities
• Operation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, heaters, pumps, and valves for steam and water distribution• Operation, repair, and maintenance of refrigerated compressors, condensers, and evaporators• Operation, repair, and maintenance of pumps and valves for brines and secondary refrigerating liquids• Operation, maintenance, and repair of compressors, air control valves, and natural/manufacturing gas distribution lines• Operation, maintenance, and repair of water filters, softeners, piping, and pumps for water distribution• Maintenance and repair of motors and engines used to power pumps, compressors, and fans• Maintenance and repair of main electrical distribution systems• Assume full responsibility for equipment operation and maintenance• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate• 4 years of experience in a related field• Experience in operating and maintaining plant machinery and equipment• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, valves, and motors• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems• Understanding of electrical distribution systems• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
