We are seeking a Sr Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering for our ECU team. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of excellence in the field of Automotive Electronics. The candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.Responsibilities:Own the development and deployment of our ECU (electronic Control Unit) Manufacturing Test at our CM's (Contract Manufacturer), working closely with our SW & HW Engineering teams.Manage professional team of Mfg. Test Engineers and technicians.Design, build, document & implement custom Test set ups & Fixtures for our PCBAs and ECUs.Understanding of testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems from PCBA to system level.Perform functional analysis of ECUs to resolve manufacturing test integration issues.Setup the factory test lines, networking requirements, data collection and reporting.Create, execute, and manage the Mfg. Test plan for our ECU products.Continually analyze work processes to identify optimization opportunities and implement process improvements.Communicate to management regularly on status, issues and solutions, improvement plans, program status and process recommendations.Up to 15% travel may be required.Minimum Qualifications:10+ years' experience in Manufacturing Test development experience (Not Silicon).10+ years' experience with analysis of complex electronic systems.5+ years' experience managing people in a technical role.Must have CM experience in a Manufacturing Test role in Asia.Experience in a Worldwide Operations or Engineering, specifically CM/ODM's in Asia.Experience with C#/C++, Scripting, Test Equipment Driver development, LabVIEW, with NI's TestStand a plus.Preferred Qualifications:CM experience in AsiaExperience working with multiple organizations across different cultures and regions.Excellent communication skills (writing and oral).Demonstrated success in data collection and networking.Experience with high volume consumer products, electro-mechanical products, where Automotive Electronics experience is preferred.The ability to work SW and HW teams to find test solutions quickly and efficiently.Able to read and understand schematics, test point requirements and net architecture.Thorough understanding of DFx best practices as they apply to SMT and Board test.NI TestStand experience a must. NI Labview and Systemlink experiences are a plus.Education:Bachelor's Engineering in SW, EE, or related degree required.Masters in Engineering or Business preferred
