Overview Responsible for providing leadership for facilities, inventory control, and warehouse management systems.
Primary Responsibilities Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability Prepare, control, and manage operational budgets Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures; Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies and strong root cause analytical abilities Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures Additional Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution of goods Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity Lead all building projects (i.e. warehouse systems, building/conveyor improvements) Provide MHE technical support and provide recommendations to maximize efficiencies Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery Ensure safety compliance of all team members Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs EEO Statement Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
