Special Education Teacher Needed Full-Time Near Avondale, Az

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with K-8 students at various campuses in Avondale, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, including mild to severe disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Provide individual and small group instruction to students in resource room and self-contained settings
Use evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technology to support student learning
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a comprehensive and integrated education program
Assess and monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and participation in the program
Participate in IEP meetings and other related meetings as required by the school district
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Arizona teaching license with Special Education endorsement
Mild-Mod certification or Cross-Categorical certification
Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities
Knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technology
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional requirements:
Full-time position, up to 40 hours per week excluding lunch breaks
Caseloads range from 10-25 students depending on assignment
Candidates should provide their caseload preferences and indicate what they are comfortable with
Must hold an active AZ SPED License
