Sourcing Specialist

Our partner, a leading manufacturer of loading dock equipment, seeks a motivated Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Germantown, WI.
Responsibilities: Assist with procurement strategies to ensure availability of parts and raw materials for manufacturing areas Process, track, and ensure completion of sourcing activities and initiatives Maintain data integrity in ERP and other business systems Track and analyze supplier spend, commodity, volume, currency, timing, and other fluctuations Support the Request For Quote process and develop supplier business reviews Assist with Bill of Materials Scrubs prior to New Product Development design reviews Resolve quality issues involving materials and shop paperwork Plan, develop, and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment Assist with phase in and phase out inventory for new or obsolete parts Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in inventory, planning/scheduling, purchasing, or supply chain management Knowledge of MRP or ERP systems, demand flow manufacturing, Kan Ban, lean manufacturing, vendor management, and vendor replenishment programs Solid verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to travel to out-of-state locations 1-2 times per year Benefits Competitive pay Paid parental leave Tuition reimbursement Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Short and long-term disability Generous 401(k) match Paid holidays 3 weeks PTO accrual upon hire
