As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring the successful completion of projects within established timelines and budgetary constraints. Your expertise in construction service and technical knowledge will be vital in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative working environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Oversee the construction service operations of projects from start to finish. Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management. Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution. Proactively identify and resolve construction service-related problems to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of construction service technicians. Provide technical support and guidance to construction service technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Ensure that construction service activities are performed to the highest quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction service process. Communicate project progress, milestones, and any potential issues to clients in a timely and transparent manner. Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and change requests, providing knowledgeable recommendations and solutions. Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are being followed. Coordinate project close-out. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Construction is usually required. Must be computer literate with a knowledge base of MS Office. Sage estimating and Procore software experience is a plus. Experience in related fields is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is desirable. Must be a strong leader who can motivate and manage a team to achieve project goals. Ability to complete assigned tasks within given deadlines. Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members. Must often lead by example.
