Full-time Service Assistant I positionTransport patients to appropriate hospital areas40 hours per week, work schedule 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities
• Transport patients to/from patient care and clinical service areas• Follow dispatchers' or schedulers' instructions• Maintain good public relations and personal hygiene• Exercise judgment and professionalism• Maintain confidentiality regarding patients• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation if necessary• Follow written and oral instructions• Communicate orally with patients and staff• Transport patients safely on transport vehicles• Be sensitive to the needs of others
Requirements
• Two years of customer service experience• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• BLS certification required• Knowledge of hospital departmental locations• Basic body mechanics knowledge• Basic computer skills• Read and write at a high school level• Use Smart Phones for job assignments• Ability to work in a standing position and walk for long periods of time• Must pass back evaluation examination
