Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in driving our month-end and year-end general ledger close processes, while contributing to various projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and conduct account-level analysis during the month-end close.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for intricate accounts.
- Lead initiatives focused on process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with external auditors.
- Ensure adherence to established accounting methods, controls, policies, and principles.
- Address financial inquiries from team members.
- Undertake additional projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, with expertise in GAAP-compliant accounting and financial reporting.
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in manipulating large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
- Positive attitude, coupled with an energetic and upbeat personality.
- Exceptional communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Desired Qualifications:
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status preferred.
- Previous experience in public accounting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Experience working in a large company environment is desirable.
Work Model:
This position offers a flexible work model, with approximately 95% remote work and occasional onsite presence for team-building activities, typically once a month.
Compensation:
Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000, plus bonus incentives.
