The Flooring Sales Manager role goal is to reach out to and follow up with customers, visit the home or job site, measure the job identifying everything needed to do the job, provide quotes, close the sale and follow up throughout the process. You will also represent the company in ways to increase your sales like: Home Shows, fairs, networking events, etc. Reports To : President
Position Overview: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Analyze market trends, customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. Set clear sales objectives, targets, and KPIs for the team and monitor performance Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and onboard sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to team members to enhance their sales effectiveness and professional development. Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. Sales Execution and Performance Management: Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities, prospecting, and building relationships with key customers. Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations to track progress and provide guidance to team members. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches to attract and retain customers. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as necessary to optimize results. Requirements :
Proven track record of success in sales management Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth. Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges. Salary & Benefits: Compensation up to $100k: base salary of $50k plus commission 401k with company contribution after 6 months of employment Paid time off and medical benefits fully covered by the employer after 90 days
