Job Description: Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead campus, is accepting applications for Full-time Sales and Marketing Instructor to begin fall semester 2024. This position will become unlimited upon completion of required six semesters of probationary status.
Responsibilities: Activities related to comprehensive community college teaching and learning, including but not limited to:
Instructional planning and delivery; Teaching and facilitating student learning; Curriculum planning and development; Academic advising for Sales and Marketing students; Assessment of student performance at course and departmental level, and contribute to student assessment at the college general education level; Classroom management; Maintenance of professional skills and credentials; Participation in department meetings, coordination activities, and college-wide committees. Required Qualifications: Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, business management or business education. Occupational Experience Requirement:
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in sales and marketing. Recency Requirement:
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in digital marketing. Demonstrated familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college; Teaching experience at the post-secondary level or with adult learners. Outstanding communication and facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to establish a positive learning environment that promotes retention, accountability, diversity, equity, excellence, innovation, collaboration, safety, and personal/professional growth. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Other Requirements: NOTICE : In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a motor vehicle records check.
