Registered Nurse Supervisor - Home Health
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to lead the nursing team. This role primarily involves office-based responsibilities, with occasional fieldwork training for nurse home visits.
Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Team Management:
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to the nursing team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
* Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for nursing staff.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement within the nursing team.
* Operational Management:
* Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate with other departments, such as patient services and administration, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
* Monitor and evaluate nursing services to ensure compliance with quality standards and patient satisfaction goals.
* Address any issues or concerns related to nursing operations in a timely and effective manner.
* Clinical Oversight:
* Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that care plans are developed and implemented effectively.
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in home health care practices and incorporate new technologies and techniques as appropriate.
* Patient Advocacy and Education:
* Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients and their families receive the highest level of care and support.
* Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their care plans, treatment options, and available resources.
* Address any questions or concerns raised by patients or their families in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
* Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
* Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required
* Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in home health care.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant technology.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards governing home health care services.
