Job Summary We are looking for individual to join our client's team as Radiologic Technologist. Encompasses responsible clinical and administrative work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility involving day-to-day tasks of an operating segment of the Radiology department in the delivery of radiological services. Operates x-ray equipment, develops images, and prepares radiological areas, equipment, supplies and contrast materials.
Job Description Performs procedures on patients whose conditions require specialized expertise. Assists Radiologist, other physicians, and allied health care professionals in performing diagnostic or treatment procedures. Performs diagnostic testing on equipment and general maintenance. Monitors patient and equipment condition during procedure and reports changes to appropriate health care professional. Assists and guides radiographers in the performance of a wide variety of x-ray procedures. Skills Required 1-year General Radiographer experience. Education/Training/Certifications A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required. BLS preferred. Radiographer Radiologic Technologist Additional Requirements Adhere to company guidelines regarding COVID compliance. Malpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice. A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment.
