A successful candidate will be responsible for :
Testing equipment in accordance with specifications, work instructions, and sales order requirements. Ensure form, fit, and function of equipment is as designed Interpret inspection plans, complete test documents, and controller programs Adheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g. safety & 5s procedures Complete assignments in accordance with production schedule and manufacturing standards Other duties as assigned Completes required paperwork e.g. timecards, quality documents, test records, quality documents, standard-work, etc. Follows written and verbal instructions and assignments Adheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g. safety & 5s procedures Effectively test a variety of products that range from standardized design and function to non-standard products. Work requires basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, technique and ability to operate machinery, equipment, and computer terminals Use required measuring and gauging devices Contribute to team effort and effectiveness Performs other duties as assigned High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting experience preferable and/or demonstrated ability, aptitude/proficiency Equipment testing experience desirable Pass skills test Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of parts Adept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoning Familiar with the use of various hand/power tools Good organizational skills Basic math skills Detail oriented Benefits of working as a Product Tester in New Berlin, WI:
