The Product Development Manager is responsible for guiding product strategy and collaborating with various stakeholders.They will ensure adherence to regulatory timelines, stay updated on industry trends, and facilitate product development.This role involves working with internal and external customers to achieve business, client, and vendor objectives.

Responsibilities
• Orchestrate collaboration with business leaders, technical teams, actuarial stakeholders, and external partners.• Advance product design based on market analysis and align with strategic goals.• Ensure adherence to regulatory timelines for product filings.• Stay updated with industry trends and evolving practices.• Organize and facilitate development of commercial and Medicare products.• Manage system and infrastructure improvements.• Lead vendor selection and implementation.• Support development, implementation, and compliance of new and renewing clients, products, and vendors.• Assist in developing and producing plan documents and filing documents.• Initiate, plan, execute, and manage product development and implementation initiatives.
Requirements
• Experience with health plan accreditation standards and regulations.• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, communications, or business preferred.• Minimum three years' experience in project implementation and management.• Experience in process improvement, marketing, communication development & production, or proposal writing.• Preferred experience includes supervisory experience, working with healthcare providers and systems, managing large budgets, project management, and negotiation skills.• Strong research, analysis, and interpretation skills for health insurance and healthcare regulations.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.• Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadline pressure.• Strong project management skills.• Proficiency in HPMS, SERFF, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and database software.• Familiarity with continuous quality and performance improvement methodologies.
