Responsibilities
• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment• Perform make-ready tasks associated with the press• Examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and correct positioning• Make necessary color corrections and press adjustments• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press• Perform periodic maintenance
Requirements
• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, and specifications• Ability to read and understand job specifications• Skill in making precise control settings and adjustments• Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs• Knowledge of proper printing pressure and use of micrometer• Experience with press equipment and safety requirements
