POSITION OVERVIEW: As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading maintenance operations and driving excellence at our client's highly valued manufacturing plant in Denver, CO. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will oversee a team of 26 reports, including both direct and indirect reports. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance systems and practices to support our plant's operations.
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis for equipment and facility repairs.
Oversee control systems and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Safety, HR, and Production to schedule and execute maintenance activities.
Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance maintenance function performance.
Foster a positive workplace culture through proactive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop supervisors and align their leadership with organizational goals for optimized performance and culture change.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of plant equipment maintenance (or engineering) experience in consumer-packaged goods manufacturing.
3+ years of leadership experience.
Solid knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles.
Strong technical knowledge of maintenance in manufacturing operations, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Experience leading and establishing Lean and other Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Experience with people development, equipment reliability, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and managing budgets.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Non-Union plant experience preferred.
