Central Arkansas Veteran Healthcare System (CAVHS) is recruiting for a Physician in Hematology/Oncology. The position involves inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology Care Medicine. The candidate will have educational responsibilities for Hematology/Oncology fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
Duties of include, but are not limited to:
Participation in research education workshops.
Responsible for teaching, and mentoring of trainees from our academic affiliates.
Proficient in providing care to patients with benign hematologic, malignant hematologic, and solid tumor malignancies.
Provide Inpatient consultative services.
Provide electronic consultations.
Participation in and holding principal investigator roles for clinical trials.
May include duties at the University Medical Center as assigned
Work Schedule:
8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, some weekend/holiday rounding and on-call
