Responsibilities
• Provide appropriate rehabilitation treatment and therapy as assigned• Follow established legal and professional standards• Administer modalities to patients in accordance with physical therapy standards• Observe, record, and report patient's condition and reaction to treatment• Schedule patients for therapy sessions within their daily activities• Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patients• Maintain safety standards for patients and personnel• Attend meetings and participate in committees as requested• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required• Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures for patient care• Knowledge of physical therapy and medical equipment• Awareness of common safety hazards and precautions• Ability to apply physical therapy methods and techniques• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions• Strong record-keeping and interpersonal skills• Preferred previous experience in a similar work setting
