Kelaca is looking for an Operations Associate III for our client partner in Garner, NC . Our client is a leading provider of sustainable 3PL solutions for life science clients. They use state-of-the-art technology, warehousing, logistics, value-added services, and customer service support to provide customized solutions within our integrated and validated ISO 13485 quality system.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Associate III will be responsible for daily activities, including finished goods and parcel shipping, receiving, put-away, and item-picking. As an Operations Associate, you must maintain WMS system integrity, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness through operational excellence.
To be successful in this role, the Operations Associate III will need to be proficient in hand-held and system transactions, pay close attention to detail, be adaptable, be flexible with tasks, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to work in a team environment with a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities : Perform a wide range of warehouse duties, such as receiving, put-away, picking, packaging, and shipping, to achieve specific objectives and targets Ensure that all transactions and inventory movements are accurately recorded to maintain inventory accuracy Utilize various moving equipment (motorized and manual), hand-held scanners, zebra printers, tape guns, and shipping software to perform daily tasks efficiently Repalletize incoming pallet loads that have been compromised during transport or storage in accordance with safety protocols Package outgoing parcels and pallets in compliance with written Work Instructions using approved methods and supplies to guarantee the safe and secure delivery of goods Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all processes are executed consistently and efficiently Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize the risk of accidents and injury Maintain cleanliness in medical devices and pharmaceutical warehouses through regular cleaning intervals to comply with industry regulations and to ensure a safe working environment Perform other duties as assigned to meet business requirements and contribute to the team's success. Skills and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required Cold Chain logistics experience Forklift Certification At least three years of warehouse/logistics experience in a Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Controlled Drug Warehousing environment Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Possess a hands-on skill set and a can-do attitude Self-motivated, maintains productivity for self Comfortable using ERP or WMS and Microsoft Office software applications Multitasking and time-management skills, ability to prioritize tasks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Available to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary Must possess reliable transportation Team Lead experience is a plus Work Environment and Physical Demands : Mostly controlled but potentially varying internal environmental conditions, including temperature and noise changes within acceptable safety levels typical to a warehouse environment. Work may involve long-term standing, sitting, and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouses, re-packaging, or Engineering labs and navigating common hazards related to these areas. Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 occasionally. Must be able to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk. Weekend and overtime work may be required. Additional physical duties may be required as necessary. Job Type: Full-time
Hours of Work in Office: Monday-Friday; 10am-6:30pm
FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
