We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in Aerospace for our Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in CNC Machining, AS9100 and ISO-9000 Requirements and Standards, Manufacturing Processes and Procedures, Root Cause and Corrective Action Techniques, Planning, Project Management, Problem Solving and Decision-Making Abilities, Kaizen, 6S, Contract Reviews, Manufacturing Documentation, Determination of Optimum Operating Parameters, Process Improvements, Creation of Accurate Work Instructions, Tooling and Shop Aids, Conduct Capability Studies, Technical Oversight, Modern Manufacturing Methods, Special Process Audits, PAS Quality Procedures, U.S. Government Export Regulations, Shop Practices and Safety.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring production processes to ensure that products meet design specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for improving production efficiency and reducing costs through the use of innovative manufacturing techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerospace. In addition, the successful candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production processes for the manufacturing of products. Monitor and adjust processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes. Develop and implement strategies for the manufacturing of new products. Develop and maintain accurate work instructions and process documentation. Assess current production processes and recommend improvements. Conduct process capability studies and determine optimum operating parameters. Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Provide technical oversight and support during production and troubleshooting. Perform audits of production processes and special processes. Review and analyze customer contracts and ensure compliance with PAS quality procedures.
