Logistics/Ecommerce Assistant Buyer

Job summary
Oversee enterprise level inventory management functions within the digital space.Responsible for achieving or surpassing planned category performance and productivity standards.Manage and replenish assortments, launch new initiatives, and maintain positive vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
• Re-buy assortment and timely replenishment to maximize customer satisfaction and company profits.• Achieve in-stock goals on everyday and promotional SKUs.• Track, monitor, expedite, and maintain purchase orders.• Research fill rates, lost sales, and back orders.• Assist in resolving warehouse receiving issues, negotiate cost savings, and work with sourcing team on vendor options.• Analyze forecast demand, adjust system to purchase current needs, and coordinate return to vendor/recall process.• Respond to accounts payable/vendor issues and review service level reports for vendor performance.• Collaborate with inventory planners on promotional forecast and demand lift.• Travel to local campuses and attend company meetings.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years retail store managerial experience or relevant education/experience combination.• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects.• Excellent oral/written communication skills and extreme attention-to-detail.• Ability to identify metrics/key performance measures and use data to drive decisions.• Proficient with Microsoft Office.• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
