Lead Superintendent position for large ground-up commercial construction projects. Projects will include big-box retail, industrial, and distribution, which will have tilt-wall incorporated into the build.
The project superintendent is responsible for the employment and supervision of job labor and job activities to assure job schedules are completed on time and within budget. The project superintendent maintains effective relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and others related to the job; assures safe working conditions; obtains necessary service and facilities for job start-up and demobilization; manages job-related equipment and job bought materials. Works as a team member with a project manager, assistant superintendent, and project coordinator and manages all subcontractors' schedules on the job.
Superintendent Functions:
Coordinate schedule, manpower, equipment and resources with the Field Team
Direct and evaluate project timeline
Communicate with leadership and client on project status
Review and approve all subcontractor and vendor payment as well as timely preparation of payment requisitions
Superintendent Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience as a lead project superintendent for a general commercial contractor with heavy tilt-wall experience for big-box retail, industrial, and distribution projects
* Intermediate computer skills and knowledge using software ie: Microsoft Office, Spectrum, Ranken, etc
* Strong customers service and relationship skills
* A high school diploma is required
* Valid driver's license required
