Title: Lab Tech Sr. - 2nd ShiftLocation: Sturgis, MIDuration: 6 Month AssignmentShift Time:03.30 PM - 12.00 AMWhat You'll Work On:Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating ProceduresCorrectly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batchProcess acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reportsConduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOPTranscribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certificationMaintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentationCommunication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challengesMaintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workersRequired Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related fieldAt least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life.
