Insurance Customer Service Agent

We're looking for someone passionate about providing excellent customer service to our clients and policyholders. As our next Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will show our policyholders the value of being one of our customers by generating insurance quotations and providing coverage advice. You'll also be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. If this sounds like you, apply now!Responsibilities:Communicate with the customers about complaints, give acceptable solutions, and follow up to ensure that the problem was fixedRemain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available toolsValidate client insurance coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documentsAnswer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiriesKeep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policiesIf not licensed in P&C, it would be a goal for you to get licensed in the first few months of employmentQualifications:Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systemsA general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferredPrior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is requiredMust possess exemplary interpersonal skills, communication skills, and active listening skillsMust have high school diploma or GED equivalentAbout Company:We are a team of people helping people. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30. You will be asked to attend early morning, evening, and an occasional Saturday meeting for either networking or to support local and community events.
