*Remote* Long-term Contract Opportunity!Seeking Instrumentations and Controls (I&C) Verification and Validation (V&V) EngineerReports directly to I&C Digital V&V Manager
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Develop Digital I&C V&V Plans, Procedures and Policies• Review and verify systems, software, and hardware requirements• Participate in Configuration Management (CM) audits and reviews• Generate V&V reports• Support auditing, inspections, and review of suppliers• Participate in code and software and firmware language reviews• Plan, execute, and report testing• Support continuous learning and application of best practices• Interface with other disciplines and support licensing activities• Ideal Background: B.S. or higher in Controls, Electrical, or related discipline
Requirements
• 5+ years direct experience performing NQA-1 Design Verification activities• Experience in instrumentation and controls development• Experience with I&C system, software, and hardware testing• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards• Familiarity with nuclear power plant quality assurance
