Responsibilities
• Install gas and refrigeration pipes• Design and install duct work systems• Troubleshoot and install residential and light commercial systems• Train and supervise others• Consult on customer complaints and provide solutions• Enroll in advanced HVAC training classes• Obtain and maintain NATE Certifications• Test and balance systems• Apply all codes for residential installations
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Proficiency in gas and refrigeration pipe installation• Proficiency in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems• Knowledge of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, and heat pumps• Exceptional safety knowledge• General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems• Ability to provide customer solutions• Enroll in 20 hours of advanced HVAC training per year• Obtain and maintain all Installer based NATE Certifications
